Due to inclement weather conditions, CCSD will be closed today, December 13, 2022.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the final Social-Emotional Wellness Curriculum Community Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 7, 2022, has been postponed.
This year we have reintroduced cup stacking or speed stacking into all of our Elementary PE classes. The interest was very high and kids wanted stacks of their own! When we looked at the price on the official website, the stacks were $25 per stack. Amazon had them for $20 per stack. After some thought, it was decided that we would purchase a new classroom set including timers for school, and sell our current stacks at a discounted price This choice gave us some much-needed timers and a chance to put cups in our kids' hands at a much better price. At this time we have 47 bagged cup stacks for sale at $10 per stack. . They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and we are limiting them to 1 stack per family, to give more students opportunities to purchase the stacks.

Due to anticipated weather conditions, CCSD will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, November 18, 2022. Buses will run exactly two hours after their normal route times. Classes will begin promptly at 9:55 AM.
The final community meeting pertaining to the Social-Emotional Wellness Curriculum has been rescheduled for December 7, 2022, at 6:30 PM @ Charger Auditorium.

To ensure the flow of traffic at our drop-off/pick-up zone on Colorado Ave., please pick up/drop off your student at the gym and continue onto 7th Street. A U-turn on Colorado Ave. by the gym is prohibited and only causes congestion. We thank you in advance for following these guidelines. 🐴🚸
There will be an informational meeting for ALL 5th-12th Grade Band & Music Students tonight at 5:30 PM at Charger Auditorium, located at 602 Main Street. Parents/Guardians and participating students are encouraged to attend this meeting. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Stratil at 719.267.3582.
At this time, all afternoon practices will take place at their original times as the power should be restored by then. If otherwise stated, an additional notification will be sent.
Due to a transformer near Crowley being on fire, CCSD is suffering a power outage. Sources have indicated that the power will not be restored for multiple hours, therefore students will be released at 10 AM. Buses will run at 10 AM for all bus riders. Please make arrangements to pick up your student at 10 AM.
