On Saturday, November 12, 2022, the Mustangs participated in the Cheraw Tournament. The 8th Grade Team won the tournament with the scores being:
CC vs. Cheraw: 39 - 12
CC vs. John Mall: 32 - 9
On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, the Mustangs battled the Fowler Grizzlies. The 8th Grade Team beat the Grizzlies with a score of 36 - 18!
