CCES 1st Grade Students made Friendship Salad today! Friendship salad is a fun way to teach students about room rules and manners.
The Recipe Includes:
- One big bowl that represents the Classroom
- One can of fruit representing the Kind Kids
- One can of fruit that represents the Hard Workers
- One can of fruit that represents the Kids Who Share
- Marshmallows, which represent Kind Words
- Whipped cream, which represents Happiness at School
Students participated in this lesson, prepared the Friendship Salad, and had a sweet treat to share with each other at the end!
