The Crowley County Junior High Track team competed in the Limon Track meet on 04/04/2024 with over 25 other schools. Crowley County boys placed 3rd overall with some strong finishes individually by, Copper S. – 2nd place in the 100-meter dash, Levi G. 3rd in the 200-meter dash, Krew K. 2nd in the 1600-meter run, and the boys 4x100 team of Cooper S., Krew K., Ghett H. and Levi G. 2nd overall. Levi G. also placed 2nd in the boy’s high jump.
The girls had a good first meet and are looking to be placing themselves as the season continues. Several of the girls made great strides in individual field events while team relays are cutting times.
The Crowley County Junior High track team has 31 kids out and will compete in numerous meets over the next couple of weeks.
